@kg4fku - interesting. It starting working for me after I logged out of the app and logged back in. I only had to do it once since installing it and it has worked since then. Hmm… Any thoughts @docwisdom ?

I just ran a test - the main icon in the “Things” view doesn’t update for me either. I thought it did at one point, but the smoke alarm hasn’t gone off since I last tested this device type so I’m not sure if/when it broke. I’ll add it to my “todo” list, but since the notifications are going out ok…

When I load up a device with this device type it’s not recognised as a smoke detector by danger and damage dashboard app to alert me or anything else. Is this not intended for this purpose?
