There’s no way to program that type of delay or exclusion in the Smart Lighting app to our knowledge so maybe scene control could work better here. The custom handlers were recently updated to work better in terms of scene control implementation on the new app so if you’d like us to send you step-by-step instructions for your scenario, please send us an email and we’ll be happy to help.
Closing the loop here. I received instructions from Agnes from @TheSmartestHouse and now can’t make the erroneous on / off dance happen. Control from one of the switches is immediate. Control from the other still takes 1/2 of a second or so for the second set of lights to turn on but it’s absolutely tollerable.
