I want to set up a piston so when I come home and unlock my August smart lock it will trigger a false motion so an Alexa routine will play music only when i unlock the door. Is there a way to make the motion detector falsely/remotely detect motion?
By “false” , I believe you mean a “virtual” motion sensor?
If so, sure, that’s the standard way of using smartthings to trigger an echo routine, although we usually use a virtual contact sensor rather than a virtual motion sensor. But it’s the same idea.

Amazon has now added the ability for some sensors to trigger an Amazon echo routine (not a smartthings routine), which does let you trigger other smart home devices which are not connected to SmartThings without having to speak an echo command! I recommend you install echo speaks. It allows direct control of your Alexa devices from within ST.
You can just add the Alexa device to your WC piston to start your music.
