Make a motion sensor falsely detected motion?

I want to set up a piston so when I come home and unlock my August smart lock it will trigger a false motion so an Alexa routine will play music only when i unlock the door. Is there a way to make the motion detector falsely/remotely detect motion?

By “false” , I believe you mean a “virtual” motion sensor?

If so, sure, that’s the standard way of using smartthings to trigger an echo routine, although we usually use a virtual contact sensor rather than a virtual motion sensor. But it’s the same idea.

I recommend you install echo speaks. It allows direct control of your Alexa devices from within ST.
You can just add the Alexa device to your WC piston to start your music.
