I’m having limitations with the SmartThings Hub V3. The manual states that it can integrate up to 100 Zigbee devices. I’m integrating Vimar switches, and it only lets me integrate a maximum of 48 devices (I’ve attached an image with details of the switch). Could someone help me understand why it’s limiting me so much?
what is the color of the led light on the front of the hub? from the image you posted, your hub is offline.
Ah, at the time of the screenshot, they were working on the electrical part. We disconnected for a moment, which is why it appears offline. But the hub is working. The LED lights up green. It completes the pairing process, but doesn’t add any more devices after reaching 48 integrated devices. I’d like to understand what’s happening, since, according to the manual, it should support 100 Zigbee devices.
I have 70 Vimar switches that I need to integrate. I’m temporarily solving this problem with two hubs configured in different locations, but it’s not the ideal solution.
100 devices total, but it requires a Zigbee repeater/extender or two. 48 direct connected zigbee device limit.
Hi @Soporteintelitechpy
Could you show us if you’re getting any memory errors? A screenshot would be helpful.
Hi Itatí, No memory errors appear; it simply stops adding switches. I tried deleting three devices and then re-adding them, but it only accepts three to replace the ones I deleted, and the rest won’t be added. I click “Add Devices,” it starts searching, blinks green, and after a while says it’s finished searching, but doesn’t enroll the switch.
I haven’t tried that. These switches are already repeaters, so not all devices are directly connected to the hub. But I can try adding extenders.
I feel like I’ve missed a couple of memos somewhere. I thought the limit for direct connected end devices was 64 and I’ve never been aware of a maximum at all.
64 direct, you’re right. I believe depending which support doc you look at, the official limit is 100 or 200.
What’s the model number of the Vimar switches?
This is the model: 2-way switch IoT connected mechanism - 19592.0
