I need help! I’m new at ST, and have been trying to research my problem with no luck. First off, I live in the US. I have a GE Zigbee In-Wall Smart Dimmer (45857GE) and OSRAM Lightify Tunable White Lights (LED10RT56TW). My kitchen and dining room are connected (the same room), and I put a dimmer wit…

Never put a smart dimmer controlling the current to A dimmable smart bulb. (Dimmable Dumb bulbs are fine) . The two devices will confuse each other and you’re quite likely to either burn out the switch or the bulb. And burning out the switch can cause other electrical or fire problems. There are…

Thanks, I found another topic you replied on just as you were posting to this one. I’ll try to hotwire as that seems like a good idea. I like the child lock idea as a router issue could cause problems with everything that needs it to run. Has anybody figured out a smartapp to control the lightify T…

Most of the people using lightify with SmartThings hang out in the following thread. I would ask about smartapps there. :sunglasses: [image] Osram/Sylvania Lightify (it works) Connected Things Osram just released a new line of zigbee light bulbs called Lightify. Temperatu…

Ok, so I unhooked the lightify bulbs from the dimmer. Now, the bulbs are hot wired and the dimmer is just wired to the wall (no load). I was able to use the Smart Lights app to turn the lights on and off, but I don’t know how to get the dimming function to work. I tried @Sticks18 Dim with me- plus c…

Hi Chris, what does the activity log look like for your GE In-Wall Smart Dimmer when you get the endless loop? How do you have the options in the Dim With Me app setup? Live Logging output could help also to see what the Dim With Me app thinks is happening. Don’t worry about the device handler nam…

You may already know all this, but just in case, here’s the FAQ on accessing logs: [image] FAQ: Logs and SmartThings - An intro into figuring out what went wrong FAQ Logs and SmartThings: https://graph.api.smartthings.com : This is the first place to go when SmartThings a…

Ok, not sure if this is new or I just wasn’t paying attention, but I turned the light on, it came on fully from the Smart Light app (and I made sure that every light was set to 100% in the ST app on my phone)- GOOD. I tried to dim the bulbs from the wall switch using Dim with Me and I held the butto…

Since I can’t paste the 45000 characters of code, I just want to see if I’m doing this right in the first place. My actual dimmer is called Dining room dimmer, my lights are labeled Dr1 through Dr8. In Dim with me, I set the master dimmer switch to dining room dimmer, slave tunable white bulbs to Dr…

Here, this is with 1 light. I dimmed it down (not to nothing, the light was still on) and then dimmed it down further. I’m no programmer, but I think it thinks I turned off the light after the first one, and then it realized I didn’t. (But all in all, it dimmed the light fine.) 23eed4cd-40e3-439b-9…

This is with 2 bulbs, and it looped. I was able to stop the loop by pressing down on the dimmer. 23eed4cd-40e3-439b-9ac2-4d758c279acc 5:27:42 PM: info [type:level, value:28] 23eed4cd-40e3-439b-9ac2-4d758c279acc 5:27:42 PM: debug description is read attr - raw: 9F550100080800002047, dni: 9F55, en…
