The new smartthings app has an option to group a set of lights, which I can control on the app, all lights at once, or dim all light at once at the same level.
I cannot associate this to a switch/button. All I can do is to make an automation to switch on or off several lights while pressing a switch/button/sensor etc, but they do not turn off at same time because the routine switch them in sequence.
Any way to turn on/off/dim all at once?
At the present time, I believe the only option within an automation is to Use a scene. That would let you turn them all on or turn them all off or put them all to preset dimmer values.
It does not let you adjust the dimmer level together, though.
