I don’t think mine is “v1” but can you provide a link for what you have?
It really shouldn’t matter either way though. The SmartApp should work with any meter.

I got it here for $14 the other day.
I’m not familiar with that one but again, it shouldn’t matter, the app should work fine with it. Do you have it reporting wattage accurately? How often does it update?
That is the same one I have. It self identified as “Aeon Home Energy Meter” and is working flawlessly with the app.
@tweason what device handler are you using? The one i have didn’t seem to be reading it correctly. Could you send me the link or post it?
It is the default/built in Smartthings “Aeon Home Energy Meter”. If you go to the IDE to change the type, it should be available. Mine self identified.
I set your app up for both my Washer and Dryer, but I’d also like to enable push notifications. I only see an option to receive a SMS to 1 number, is there any way to do push notifications?
@dubbedout The app is using the baked in SmartThings contact book. You would need to add Push notifications to the users associated with your account.
Users are located here under ‘My Contacts’
@tweason @bmmiller
I have updated the handler to the one you have, but for some reason its not showing any wattage. My washer & dryer both have 1 power cord (black, insulated). I dont know if its reading it through the insulation. Do you have any suggestions?
Another note - Is the My Contacts only available on certain phones? I have the latest app but do not have it available.
My Contacts was available to early ST Phone App v2.0 users on Android. Since that time, ST has stopped propagating “My Contacts” with no answer on if or when they will start deploying it again.
Did you just clamp the sensor around the cord? That will not work it needs to be around the hot wire only on the cord. It’s designed to be installed in a breaker box. It can work on the cord but you would have to remove the insulation and separate the wires to use the clamp.
Yeah, I don’t have that “My Contacts” in my SmartThings app. But I found this thread on how to get it added so I’ll share for anyone else that also doesn’t have “My Contacts”.
I was thinking that might be the issue. I really dont want to remove the insulation (my luck i’d cut the cord). I guess i’ll have to find another use for it.
Thanks!
Thank you sir! That worked great. The contact list now shows up.
Please know that with the “My Contacts” feature enabled, you will no longer receive “Hub is Offline” and “Hub is Online” push notifications from ST. Also, no “Low Battery” push notifications either.
Just a heads up if you rely on these notifications for anything. ST has not been able to fix these issues for over 1.5 years now. Thus the reason I believe they do not want it propagated.
Thanks Dan. Not a huge issue for me. Does it send a text or email? or with it enabled it wont send anything at all?
Correct, I do not receive anything for hub online/offline. I use a SmartApp that I found to send notifications for Low Battery status, called “Battery Monitor”.
Thanks I’ll check out that smart app as well!
Since the Laundry Monitor SmartApp is being removed and we use it a lot. What other SmartApps can I use to monitor those multisensors?
I would say webCore…Do you use the cycle time and the time to fill tub? (I might have another suggestion)…
