Keeping apps up-to-date?

Hi,

How do you keep apps up-to-date? For example if i’m using a someone’s published app from github, will the app aoutmatically update, if there’s a new committ? Is that what the github integration is for?

I’m coming from VeraLite and apps could either auto-update or you can update/check manually. I’m looking for similar functionality.

Self-published ups will not update atumatically. You’ll have to update your Github fork and sync it with IDE.

ooh - thanks. i’ll have to look into getting that working properly.

hopefully ther’es a better way to handle this in the future.
