Some searching has led to no good results. With Black Friday deals springing up soon, I’m in the market for a smart irrigation controller. But is there anything working well with SmartThings?
I’m looking for something with either a fully functioning community created DTH or something compatible that’s not listed on the official SmartThings site.
I have a Rachio, and integration with ST is pretty flaky. But frankly, I have never seen any value to connecting my irrigation to my home automation. The Rachio does a good job of making adjustments based on weather all on its own.
That said, if I was to do it again, I would probably purchase something like the Orbit B-Hyve. Much less expensive, adjusts well to weather, and still accessible through your phone when needed.
