Independent Dual Receptacle Control

Hey JD!

Yes im using smartthings classic. I still haven’t merged to the new app.

Answering your second question. Yes, i verified the specs of the lights, they are wired at 220v and when turned on they use approx 7A (did this before connecting it to the Smartenit ZBLC15 Module in order to avoid any damage.)

OK, The problem is that smartthings has significantly changed their zigbee implementation over the last couple of years, and to be honest, I’m just not sure if this device will work with it anymore. Most multi endpoint zigbee devices do not, because smartthings does not expose the endpoint Numbers so you can’t use them as triggers in automations.

That’s why I’m not sure if device type handlers like the one written by @johnr for the Smartenit ZBLC15 still work or not.

That specific device was officially supported by SmartThings back in 2015, but it is no longer on the official compatibility list, so I’m not sure if it does still work.

My suggestion would be that you start a new thread in the devices section with a title like “does anyone have the Smartenit ZBLC15 working for both endpoints?” And hopefully you will get some responses that way.

This is a very busy forum with a lot of messages, and once you get down to specific device questions it usually helps to put the brand and model in the topic thread and then you will get more responses.

I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful at the present time as I am not using this device myself and I don’t recall anything from the last two years about it in the forum.

But since you are using The Classic app, at least we have a place to start, so if we can find someone who does have it working you should be able to use the same code that they are if it’s available.

Thank you, i will proceed as you are suggesting
