In-Wall Humidity Sensor & Fan Control

I’m looking for an In-Wall Humidity Sensor & Fan Control to connect to Smartthings. Does anyone have a recommendation?

What country are you in? The device selection does vary.

OK, for fans, see the community FAQ. (It says Alexa in the thread title, but it applies whether you are using a voice assistant or not.

FAQ: 2020 Ceiling Fan and Dimmer light wall mount control compatible with SmartThings and Alexa?

As far as a humidity sensor, all of the ones that I know are surface mount on a wall, they wouldn’t be able to detect humidity very well if they were inside the wall. So they would look a lot like a thermostat. Would that be acceptable? Or were you in fact trying to measure humidity inside a wall?

This is what I’m looking for but with ST compatibility. Then I would be able to tune it with software controls.

Assuming it’s just an exhaust fan, not a multi speed fan, the sonoff TH 16 should work. The only thing is I don’t know if it’s working with the new V3 app, or if the DTH would need modification. You can talk to people who are using it in the following thread:

I know it is two switches, but I use an Inovelli humidity sensor tied with one of their red series on/off switches and run it all in SmartThings. I set up an automation to where if the bathroom humidity level is at 80% or above, it will turn on the fan and notify me.

I’ve done the same with my upstairs bathroom using a monoprice sensor. Trying to stay away from battery operated and still have an elegant look.
