Hue Dimming Kit Pairing

Hi all, I’ve been using an IKEA Tradfri bulb and dimmer and it is possible to have the bulb controlled by both the dimmer AND SmarttThings. I’ve just purchased a Hue dimming kit and thought the same was possible (Hue Dimming Kit) but I can only seem to pair the devices individually and the dimmer won’t control the bulb.

Anyone got this working?

ok. Managed to get this working in a different way (pairing the bulb and dimmer to SmartThings and then using a SmartApp to process the button presses)
