There have been several reports recently of weird Z wave behavior. The first thing would be to contact support, because they can see some things from their side that we can’t.
Yours sounds like a more extensive problem, since the presence sensors are zigbee and Arlo camera is Wi-Fi/LAN integration.
So I’m not really sure what to say. I’m sure it’s very frustrating. But I would start with support, they may be able to see something going on.
Meanwhile, here are some of the other reliability issue reports from this month, in case any of them seem to match yours.
I’m kind of overwhelmed with the problems here.
I have a BE-469 that, this morning just stopped responding to commands. Every button pressed (including the Schlage button) results in that big red X lighting up. Just upgraded to @RBoy ’s latest DTH and Smartapp, so I thought that was the issue.
Then come in to try to fix it and realize that I have other issues too. Lights not responding. Action Tiles not working. ZWave repairs keep failing. Random devices fail, but the repair itself never seems to end. The logs show the repair starting and never ending.
I issued a reboot from the IDE and am trying all this again. Still no luck. Any tips? Not even sure what to look for in the logs. I noticed that the Repair doesn’t seem to show up in Live Logging? I see it in the Hub’s event log, but not L…
So I’ve had SmartThings for a few years now and in the past few months has become largely unresponsive. The SmartApps still work…turning lights and things on a sunset and off at a certain time but most of the time one or more of my devices show “unavailable” and I am not able to control them manually using the SmartThings IOS App. I usually have to unplug then replug again to work. This happens all the time! Furthermore my garage opener stopped working to the point I had to delete and then re-add which now doesn’t even recognize the device so I cannot re-add it! My Thermostats which worked flawlessly for years now don’t work all the time manually and are spotty. This system was fantastic for years and now completely buggy. Sorry seems ever since this got sold to Samsung it’s gone do…
