How to Put SmartThings V2 in secure inclusion mode for a z-wave device

hi all,
how to Put SmartThings V2 in secure inclusion mode for a z-wave device is there a way to known if a device is secure or not?

There is only one inclusion mode for the ST hub. ā€œAdd a thingā€. When included a device will show if it was included securely or not. Go to the developer portal and look at the raw description for the device. The excerpt below is from one of my Fibaro Dimmer 2 modules. See it shows zw:Ls for secure. Non secure shows as zw:L

My understanding is that the device and the DTH must support the secure mode and when including the device must include direct to the hub, NOT via another module. Also, some devices such as the Aeotec home energy monitor have a different method for secure pairing (2 presses of the button as opposed to 1),Once included the module can be moved anywhere.
