IFTTT keeps failing so I’m looking for another way to connect my Airthings air quality monitors to Smartthings.

Those are Bluetooth devices, so there’s no direct integration.
The folks over at home assistant have a cloud integration using the airthings. API: someone might be able to build an integration using that, but I haven’t heard of anyone working on it. Hopefully, if someone knows of one they will post.
