For years, I had ability to use SmartThings with my Samsung smart TV (UN55KU6500FXZA). However recently that ability has disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else? Any clues on what’s going on?
Yup. It’s a 2016 model of their curved TV.

I know it’s disappointing. One possibility is to get an IR blaster that works with smartthings. At least that way you could put TV functions into the app and routines. I don’t know details on specific features, though.

The thread I linked to in my previous post discusses various IR blasters that will work with the new smartthings platform. They already have an edge driver or they use a cloud to cloud integration.
