How do you have volume control setup via Alexa?
I’ve tried setting up an activity that is seen in st as a switch. It works the first time I run, but the switch stays on, thus it will not with a second time. If I turn off the switch, ask if my devices turn off.
I found the section for power control, but that is not activity specific.

It’s ugly, but doable with just activities if you have to have it.
I am a quadriplegic and cannot use my hands. I was hoping Amazon echo could control my new TV. Does anyone know of a way I can do that?
For you, it would probably be better to use one of the server options. They’re a lot more elegant.
