Have any fellow UK users managed to get Github Integration working with their IDE? I have been watching one of @pstuart ’s older Live Code Friday videos on YouTube, showing how to do this, but I realised the “Enable Github Integration” button/link doesn’t seem to be enabled for the EU servers. It does feel like being in the UK anything smart things related you always have to wait for it to cross the pond. Doesn’t make you feel like a valued customer and whats more frustrating is when you think you’ve added it and find out your on the american server .

Meh, just being impatient… I like writing SmartApps and device handlers, Github would just make it that much easier. Not that I like Groovy all that much, I prefer more type safety, be nice if there was a way to enable ‘strict’ mode :slight_smile:

After the UK Oauth issues were fixed ST which was top of the list a while back. ST basically said it was up to third parties to resolve UK incompatibilities. If even ST cannot be bothered to fix something like github integration themselves then what hope do we have in other vendors helping us UK use…

I agree GitHub integration would make life simpler and the fact the Americans have this feature, which means the code the logic has been designed, so why are we still without it.

I just bought this device on the basis of open developement now I’ve just found out about the UK issues and lack of GitHub integration here, fingers x Samsung sort this out fairly quickly.
