GeoPresence sensor distance (phone presence)?

Okay so I have the smart lighting automations set up to key off of my phone presence, turn on the porch, driveay, and front hallway light when my phone arrives, turn off the same lights once my phone leaves.

I noted on my way to work this morning that the lights didn’t turn off until my phone was approximately 1 mile away from the house.

Now if I want to go take the dog for a walk around the block, I don’t want the lights on the whole time, so I guess my question is, how do I reduce the size of the geofencing locations used for this?

In STSC, in the dashboard, click on the 3 dots in the upper right of the screen, choose Manage Home and then click on the Geolocation field.

In Classic, click on the More tab, then click on the cog in the upper right of the screen.

Will do this from home. Don’t want my Geolocation set from work…

You can do this from anywhere. You just center the circle around your desired location. It doesn’t have to be where your phone is currently located.
