Just to confirm - you can’t use matter over wifi ?

I don’t think the Shelly Pro Dimmer 2PM is matter enabled.

I can add the device via the cloud integration but it doesn’t support the button inputs which I need for routines

I have successfully connected a Shelly Pro 4PM using your excellent Shelly Gen 2/3 device driver, but can’t find the Pro dimmers. When I look at the device list it does not include the dimmers.

BTW I have 5 x pro dimmers but I guess the add device via search nearby will detect them all

Yea, I saw in the docs. So assuming Smartthings’s matter support would work, looks like I wouldn’t have to worry about having to support any of the gen 4 devices for folks with matter-supporting hubs. @hezqeel please let me know. It looks like the standard wifi-based API hasn’t changed from the V2/3 devices, so adding this should be fairly trivial. If you still need this support in my driver, I’ll need you to issue this command from a browser running on your local LAN (where <ip address> is the IP address of your Shelly device): http://<ip address>/rpc/Shelly.GetDeviceInfo And post or DM me the results. Thanks.

Can you get the device info for me for one of the devices? I just need an example for the device type.

I have a Shelly 1 Gen 3 with a Temperature Add-on. Would it be possible to integrate the Add-on with SmartThings so that the temperature is visible? Using your drivers, I can discover the Shelly 1, but not the temperature sensor.

Actually for me I have no issue with shelly gen1 driver as I have many devices work without issue but my issue is with shelly gen 2 driver as i completely remove gen 2 driver due to that the response of the devices became very very slow and i need to restart the hub 3 to 4 times a day (I have more that 45 shelly gen 2 devices) after i removed gen 2 driver every think returned to work fluently without any problem..Actually for local actions i am using you web request driver.

With that many devices, could it be possible you’ve hit a device or driver limit on your hub?

I’m happy to diagnose things with you on the Gen2 driver if you’d like. You will need the SmartThings CLI to run driver logs.

Would it be possible to set Shelly products as solar and home energy types in the driver? I know these types already exist in SmartThings, but via Matter. I don’t know if it would be possible via the driver.

Just waiting for a Shelly 1 Gen4 device to plug it to my Boiler’s thermostat connector.

Since the Shelly 1 Gen4 has Zigbee and Matter over Wifi and I have the V2 hub, I think my best option is to use the Zigbee connection.

Am I thinking right?

And since I’ll use the Zigbee connection, the device will not be added to the Shelly cloud, right?
