Range is the same for all Zigbee devices. See the community network FAQ. Start with post 11 in that thread (I will link directly to that post), read it, then go back up to the top of the thread, and read the whole thing.

But the Zigbee range is only for getting an instruction to the blaster. IR is always line of sight, it doesn’t go through walls.
