Thanks, So much!

Can I use this driver for both my Fibaro Motion Sensor ZW5 and the ZigBee RGBW Bulb strip manufacturer: LEDVANCE, model: FLEX RGBW, zigbeeNodeType: ROUTER?
I was going to wait and let it update automatically but now I think I should update them.
Hi @KittKat5
These devices use completely different drivers.
Both will be on the smartthings stock drivers. If you are using stock DTHs, I think you should wait for them to migrate automatically
Thank you for the information, one less thing to worry about
Okay! First off, kudoās on the driver! It works, but because of the amount of settings Iām having some troubles. Checked the entire topic and couldnāt figure it out yet.
I use the ledstrip in 3 different setups.
Other questions/manual:
In the device menu:
The bottom tabs, what do they do?
In the device settings:
Local time offset: Maybe possible to display the local time when set as a extra check that it is correct for you?
Turn on and off transistion: Is this the time after the button press in the app how long it takes before it turns on/off. Just a delay?
Add Group Number: ???
Remove Group Number: ???
In the setup of a routine:
They are all clear, but Iām not sure what to setup where to get the right result per light setup?
Maybe it is easy but I donāt get it?
Hi @Roy_R
Are you use ios app or is a old version of the driver?
Using IOS app yes and driver is 2022-08-18T16:30 so the latest.
Also, when the wake up light starts it goes very fast to 39% - 100% - 1% and then goes up slowly.
What about the labels of the custom capabilities and the buttons in blue when they are inactive, is it an error of the ios app?
They must see as this
You can activate random On-Off function and could see the local Hour for Next random change
This is a function performed by the bulb itself, not the driver, they are transition times between different state changes, off-on-off, level, colortemperature, color.
Not all bulbs support it, some support only some, and some none.
Itās a matter of testing and if you donāt see that the state changes are made during the scheduled time, you should not use it
Some zigbee devices can join a group number. All the devices that are in the same group will receive the same command from another zigbee device, such as a remote control that also supports groups, without the intervention of the hub.
I have never used it
They are used like all the capabilities in automations, they allow you to use them as conditions to trigger rules or to execute the actions they show.
Itās a matter of trying and trying.
If you tell me a specific case, I can also specify more
In previous posts I have clarified several things to other users, you can review the thread
They definitivly donāt. This is it. If I select the first button I do get the time but other then that they donāt do anything as far as I can see.
Okay, because the buttons donāt work I didnāt know.
Well letās get it to work right and they carry on.
Any suggestions on what I can do?
Hi @Roy_R
About what, specifically
That the custom options are not there/do not work.
None?
Level by external steps?
Color Temperature by external steps?
Random on-off?
progressive on
progressive off
circadian
Continuous Color changing?
Please, Anyone else who uses IOs app does not work?
Well I donāt see any names to the different tabs.
How should they work? Turn the main switch on and then select one of the tabs?
I am away all week so can only test stuff on my phone now.
Indeed if the labels are wrong it is impossible to know what it does.
Look at this photo so you know what each function is.
Random on-off:
Random on/off works
Timer is visible
Progressive on stays on, canāt turn it off (that will have something to do why my normal light routines also are āprogressive onā
Progressive off no response
Arcadian light no response
Edit: that is, what I can see in the app.
Just a thought, but I had trouble getting Circadian Lighting working until I changed the UTC offset in settings of each device running it, to match my location. -5 here on the East Coast of the US
Also, Iām not sure why, but sometimes turning the bulb on or off allows it to start, when itās enabled.
Hi
I do not understand this sentence well
Here is explained how circadian lighting works.
It is only active from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm.
Also in other posts above there are more specific details of how it works
Sorry, I thought I replied to the previous post.
In my case it works very well, but to explain why I think I have to turn on and off the restart Circadian Lightingā¦ I believe someone, either myself of the wife changes the brightness of the bulb, which stops Circadian function. However, after turning the device(s) off and back to on, the Circadian Light, resumes.
There is no problem.
The UTC is only adjustable in the light I want to operate (ledstrip under my bed) so in my case that doesnāt help.
If itās between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, and the UTC offset is correct, and you donāt have any other routines affecting led controller, I have no idea. I just know that itās not always noticeable, because it takes place over a long period of time, and if you manually change anything, it will stop until you restart it.
