(NEW RELEASE) Version 6.2 of the Edge Driver Zigbee Light Multifunction Mc

Changes and Improvements:

  • Added a new profile “rgbw-level-colortemp-2200-4000” has been created for Ikea CWS bulbs. It seems that these bulbs have a color temperature adjustment of 2200k to 4000k and in the stock driver and in this one they were with an RGB profile.
  • New preference has also been created to establish the minimum value of desired Color Temperature within the range of the profile.
  • This Minimum value and the existing Maximum value will also be used for the Circadian Function. Before it had a range from 2700k to the Maximum value chosen in preferences.
  • These Minimum and Maximum color Temperature values ​​can be used as limits on the device by selecting the preference “Use ColorTemp Min and Max as limits” in value True

  • This update is not going to be done automatically, because it changes profiles, maximum and minimum values ​​depending on the profile, it can create some problems and it is better to do it manually when each user want.
  • The problem that may appears is that the settings menu is not displayed after the update, due to the following and that I think could be a bug @nayelyz:
  • If in preferences the maximum and minimum color temperature values ​​are outside the range that will be assigned to them in the new profile (for example there are Ikea bulbs that have an rgbw profile- color temperature from 2700k to 6500k and now they are it will assign them all the correct 2200k to 4000k) if a limit in preferences were outside the 2200k-4000k range the error occurs that the settings will no longer be displayed in the app. In this case, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall the bulb so that the preferences are reset to the default
