I have modified the zigbee Contact Mc-Test driver so that it can be changed from preferences to a temperature sensor profile on all sensors that have temperature capability.
The mosaic and icon will be that of a temperature sensor
The detail view and automations will continue to work as before.
I do not have one of these sensors and I have not been able to test it, I await your comments

Hi there, so far so good. Iβm seeing temperature updates as Iβd expect. Iβm not sure if the battery read-out changed with the new driver (compared to the standard zigbee contact driver), but I will confirm. This is what I was looking for! Should I use the βtestβ version long term if it works?
I might have another to consider - itβs a specific Centralite temperature/humidity sensor , but Smartthings is picking it up as an Edge contact sensor, and the tile shows the contact instead of either temp or humidity.
Zigbee Motion Sensor MC worked for the device and has Temperature and Humidity reporting settings. I only had Zigbee Temp Humidity Sensor MC Installed.
I suppose it is foremost a motion sensor, so that makes sense.

I donβt see anything strange, it will be some factory configuration that it has.
Try pairing it to a Tuya hub, cost about $20 and see how it works or set it up there and then pair it back to samrtthings
Could I have you add the Smartthings Multipurpose Sensor to this driver (temperature/humidity sensor) as well? Or alternatively add the ability to change to a temperature tile for your Smartthings Multipurpose Sensor driver, like you did with vibration? The second is probably the better choice if itβs possible. Attached is the information. Thanks!
