I keep seeing mentions of Amazon having $10 off Echo Dot for Black Friday, but I can’t find the deal on Amazon’s site. When I search for Echo Dot, the only deals I can see are the 3, 6, and 12 pack discounts. I tried searching in Amazon’s Black Friday deals page too and it shows Echo Dot, but when I click View Details it just takes me to the normal page with the same 3/6/12 pack deals. Anyone know if, and, or where to see the $10 off Black Friday deal? Is it occurring on Friday exactly, or is it one of the Black Friday Week deals?
It was an Amazon announcement to the press promoting their “five turkey days” deals, but it’s not live yet and we don’t know exactly when the deal will be available.

The only $10 off I saw was the initial $10 instant rebate for Prime subscribers if you used voice purchase to order it. Right now it is $5 off your first voice purchase during this promo period and $50 off a Tap.
As has already been seen at other retailers, Amazon will be giving its own devices some hefty discounts. The Echo smart speaker will be $139.99, and the portable Tap Bluetooth smart speaker will be $89.99.
The Echo Dot speaker accessory will be $39.99, a $10 discount. The Fire TV streaming stick will see a similar discount and drop to $29.99. Various Kindle eBooks and Fire tablets will also see discounts ranging from $20 to $30.
Earlier this month, the online giant announced it would begin offering deals from Nov. 1 in the build-up to the shopping holiday. Early Wednesday morning the company further explained what it’d be doing for the major holiday shopping weekend, providing details for its plans in the days leading up to, during and after Black Friday.
Amazon will begin offering discounts as early as Friday and they will run until Dec. 22. The company promises that new deals will be available as often as every five minutes, and is advising shoppers to keep an eye on the “Turkey 5,” or the five days of shopping starting Thanksgiving Thursday through Cyber Monday, for the best deals.
Ok, glad I didn’t miss it yet. I wonder if the $10 off ea will apply to the 6 pack? I’m planning to get one of those, would love to get an extra $50 off, on top of the buy 6 get one 1 free deal they are already offering.
Again Tap is only $79 as of yesterday, so $89 on BF is a let down
