I don’t believe waiting at a semaphore is an error. It’s a feature from what I understand.

Plain English: yes. Technical English: events happen at any time, sometimes too close to each other, causing a piston execution to overlap the previous execution (piston runs again before it finished running) - this is called a race condition. The side effect is data (in this case variables) corruption, because, for example, if you’re trying to keep an execution counter, your second execution reads the current value before the previous execution got to increase the value, causing your counter to read 1 and then 1 again. With semaphores, if there is any active execution of the (same) piston, the second execution will wait (up to 10s) for the first to finish before it actually starts, thus allowing your counter to now read 1, 2, 3… @bobbles, import this and play with it - the device is a v…
