I would recommend check out the Blink site FAQ’s (and send in your comments to the blink support team to document).
There are 2 pieces to a blink system, the cameras and the sync module. The Sync module is the interface to the cameras (to save battery). Hence the Sync module needs to be armed for any camera to monitor. You can leave all the cameras enabled and then disarm the sync module and all cameras will stop monitoring. Then when you arm the sync module it tell all the enabled cameras to start monitoring. So in this scenario (all cameras enabled), with just arming/disarming the sync module you can start/stop monitoring all cameras.
You can, say, disable 2 of 4 cameras. Now when you arm the sync module only those 2 cameras will monitor for motion. So with arming nothing can be done, with arming, it will only enable notifications from cameras which are enabled.
The reason why sync module interfaces are given is to avoid the long delays/timeouts that ST has with enabling 10 cameras (upto 30 seconds), you can just leave all cameras enabled/disabled (or pre configure which ones are enabled for each mode e.g.) and then just arm/disarm the sync module to detect/stop motion for the enabled cameras.
@RBoy I have a stuck motion detection after the heartbeat update. It has been in the alarm state since this morning. Is there anything you want to see before I try to reset it?

Open the IDE live logging and see if you can see the heartbeat firing every minute or so from your device handler?
latest DH and App. My DH no longer shows the cameras “On” when armed. They arm but the icon does not change

I think both you and @LedGecko are facing an issue with events not updating your instance. Report it to ST support and see if they can trace it down. Essentially the events aren’t getting registered in your instance (hence the apps aren’t updating the icons). Try clicking on Refresh (both of you) and see if it helps.
It’s working perfectly here with all the cams (albeit on the v1 hub).

@LedGecko@keltymd Blink Engg have confirmed that some users are getting a “blank” response from the server when querying the camera status hence your status isn’t being updated. They’re looking into it and will get back next week. Hang tight

@LedGecko@keltymd here’s the response from Blink, they’ve fixed it but you need to power down your cameras and reboot them:
figured out the bug, it has to do with some DB cleanup we started this past week.
Quickest workaround for now would be to power cycle the cameras, which would cause it to do a power boot and be reincluded in the list. You have to take the batteries out to do that.
I ordered five more using the promotion Blink sent before this offer. Still waiting for SmartThings reliability and quality to stabilize before I use your app.

No issues with Blink. Came back from spring break and at least six Z-Wave devices dropped off the network including the thermostat. Took some time and grief from the family before I could get acceptable temperature.
I will jump back in soon because it seems like all parties are receptive to Blink feature input. I have some unique needs that only require minor tweaks but if I don’t get involved soon the window may close.
Just reporting in, I have previous version with no issues now. I previously had a ton of triggered alarms, and a stuck camera. Had to reboot camera and all is well so far. The app based heartbeat seems to have done the trick. Anything else from here would be gravy.
I was going to let it simmer for a while before bringing these up, but since you asked:
The picture is always the same. It’s the one I took to identify the area when setting up Blink. In all fairness, the Blink notifications don’t include a picture of the motion as advertised either. I have to look at the video. Is this just not implemented on the Blink side yet?
Also, the device screen exhibits the android small text issue in the tile that I think is supposed to show the last update time. Probably nothing can be done about that, but I thought at one time it showed correctly. I could be mistaken.
We expect to begin shipment on April 5, starting with our European backers, and plan to ramp up production and fulfillment throughout April.
The Blink Home Monitor app is currently only available in the US, Canada, and Mexico. We expect to release the app in the various international stores as we ship to each of the countries and will announce these releases on the Kickstarter comment board as they become available.
There isn’t any indication when European retail shipments are scheduled.
