I installed the Alexa Virtual Device Creator as I wanted to create a momentary on virtual to trigger a skill in Alexa based on the conditional criteria in ST (would create in Alexa Routine if it was possible) I created a “momentary button tile” with the smart app and it shows up in both ST and Alexa in Devices , however, when I try to build the routine in Alexa, I can select the virtual switch (does not appear). Based on that, can anyone tell me how to properly create a conditional trigger in ST that can run a skill in Alexa?
Be careful what you create.
Virtual switches cant be used as triggers, virtual devices can be. Then simply use it as a switch.
