Core Noob User Need Quick Pointer

Hi all, so I have Core doing what I need it to on a basic level but now its time to start getting a bit more clever with my pistons.

I have seen other people coding their pistons directly but all I have been able to do so far with Core has been inside the iphone smartthings core smart app.

I have read the core for dummies post and many others but nowhere does it show how to get started with coding my pistons. I am running Windows 10 and would like to be able to do it from the PC…

Thanks!

I have read this already… Several times in fact but it doesn’t answer my question.

I have seen people coding their pistons. How do I do that?

Sorry, I’ll take another stab at answering your question. Can you post a screen shot of what you mean (you see people coding pistons)?

CoRE and WebCoRE are separate distinct smartapps. If you’re using CoRE, you can’t do editing through a web browser, it only works through the ST mobile app. If you want to edit on a PC, you’ll need to install WebCoRE instead and rebuild your pistons there.

See below image. Thanks for your assistance on this…

I had a go with WebCore but couldn’t find how to setup a piston this way:
