Compatibility of Trane Xl-950 Z-Wave thermostat with SmartThings

Hi, has anyone had success in getting a Z-wave Trane Xl-950 to be recognized by a SmartThings hub? I recently added Zigbee Keen Home Smart Vents and would like to integrate both with SmartThings acting as the bridge. Is this conceptually doable?

The ScheduleTstatZones is a terrific piece of work, but it presumes you have a thermostat that’s connected to ST. That was the real question here, which unfortunately is still a ‘No’.
