Chimes and Alarms - Yamaha MusicCast

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I have Audio setup through Yamaha MusicCast in my whole house, can SmartThings play chimes / alarms in all my home speakers through MusicCast.

Yamaha MusicCast is basically a competitor of Sonos and support Bluetooth, Airplay and WiFi.

I do know that Sonos is supported but is there any way of confirming if MusicCast is also supported?

I don’t know if this is for the same model, or if it would do what you wanted to do, but a good place to start is with the quick browse lists in the community – created wiki.

I read through it and it seems that chime/alarm isn’t supported. Do you think so? May be I missed something?
