Does anyone know if somewhere there is a plan to integrate the Carrier Infinity thermostats into Smarthings?
Alternatevely, i can integrate this Carrier Infinity thermostat into HomeBridge … is there a way I can then integrate HomeBridge into Smarthings?

I really like Smarthings, but this apparent lack of compatibility will push me soon to HomeAutomation + HomeBridge

SmartThings published their API about two years ago, so it is now up to the device manufacturers to develop and maintain an integration if they choose to do so.
So you would need to address your question to Carrier support. You can share this link with them if you want to, but it’s going to be up to them to build the integration.
Separately, you can ask them if they intend to support matter, because SmartThings does have one of the best matter integrations of any of the home automation platforms.
