Can't restore original Inovelli Dimmer DTH after using Z-Wave Tweaker

I just got some new Inovelli Red Dimmers. I’m trying to configure association groups, so I changed the DTH to Z-Wave Tweaker. Now I can’t change them back to “Inovelli Dimmer.”

Every time I try, the website reports “Living Room Primary updated”, but the device type is still Z-Wave Tweaker. I can successfully change it to other values like Virtual Dimmer, but can’t revert to the real type Inovelli Dimmer.

Checking in the new Smart Things App, the “Settings” link very definitely still shows configs from Z-Wave Tweaker, not Inovelli Dimmer.

No errors, nothing. Help?

:frowning: Found it. Sort of.

For some reason, when switching back to the Inovelli Dimmer type, Smart Things decided I had a device ID conflict:

grails.validation.ValidationException: Validation Error(s) occurred during save():
- Field error in object 'physicalgraph.device.Device' on field 'deviceNetworkId': rejected value [1B:1]; codes [physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId.unique.error.physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId,physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId.unique.error.deviceNetworkId,,physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId.unique.error,device.deviceNetworkId.unique.error.physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId,device.deviceNetworkId.unique.error.deviceNetworkId,,device.deviceNetworkId.unique.error,physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId.unique.physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId,physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId.unique.deviceNetworkId,,physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId.unique,device.deviceNetworkId.unique.physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId,device.deviceNetworkId.unique.deviceNetworkId,,device.deviceNetworkId.unique,unique.physicalgraph.device.Device.deviceNetworkId,unique.deviceNetworkId,,unique]; arguments [deviceNetworkId,class physicalgraph.device.Device,1B:1]; default message [{0} must be unique]
@line 383 (createChildButtonDevices)

Relevant piece:

arguments [deviceNetworkId,class physicalgraph.device.Device,1B:1]; default message [{0} must be unique]

Again, this only affects me when switching back to Inovelli Dimmer. Other DTHs are fine. On both impacted devices, I had to modify the Device Network Id and the Type in the same update. Even though I confirmed that I didn’t have any deviceId conflicts.
