I’m using the latest ST hub. I did try by experimenting today coming back from a doctor’s appt. I shut down the ST app on the iPhone and when I came home, the Schlage Connect hadn’t unlocked the door via the automation geo-fencing trigger I had setup. So I guess the app needs to be kept running.
can you post a screen shot of the automation you setup to unlock the lock? Also, i assume you turned on location tracking in the settings?

These are the settings on the iPhone. Automation lock/Unlock based on geofencing gps. And under settings, I do have the Location ON always.
That looks good. I’d also add a notification to each so you know it ran. At least in the beginning. Have you also set the geo location of your house in the manage menu?
