Anyone have any recommendations for the best outdoor motion sensor? I’ve tried the Aeon MultiSensor and Ecolink Z-Wave units, but both have an extremely high amount of false triggers when the sun is out (at night or when cloudy they work great).
I have the aeon multi outdoors, but I have it under an eve. I have had no issues with false alarms since installing it. I was worried about cars triggering it from the road, but the effective range is only about 3 meters. I remember seeing on the board somewhere someone put some tape over the top quarter of the sensor to block sun/cloud detection
