Ive got some working bulbs linked via Alexa and Virtual locks etc, but is there any that just work with ST? I have the Tapo bridge but the bulbs they sell don’t use the bridge so couldn’t see them in my ST area.

Endless options if you have a SmartThings hub. The Tapo hub (Matter bridge) only bridges these devices: [Screenshot_20241008_220153_My Files] The only Tapo bulb that can be directly connected to the ST hub is the L535E.

I do, but so far I’ve only managed to buy bulbs that don’t work with it. What’s the best option?

Are you looking for Matter bulbs specifically? There are plenty of Zigbee bulbs that work well directly on an ST hub, the most obvious being Philips Hue.
