You can get switch guards for rocker style switches as well:

Would it or would it not work to use IFTTT to program?
Situation: Bulb and Switch ON
-when smart switch turned off, send comand to turn smart bulb off
Followed by
-when the smart bulb is told to turn off, send comand to turn smart switch on
Thus always returning the life to the bulb but turning the bulb off successfully as intended
Would there be to much of a time delay?
Is it to much for ifttt to handle?
Just a thought…
