Give me some thoughts on how color might be used in the home?

Use cases for color smart bulbs?

I recently bought some LIFX 1000 color smart bulbs. They’re bright, they’re beautiful, they make my toddler giggle. But what should I actually do with them? What are your uses for colored smart bulbs? Is there any meaningful case that couldn’t be satisfied with a smart switch and dumb bulb? And has anyone found a way to control the colors with a physical wall switch of some kind?

Undercabinet light strip that changes color when the laundry is done or the mail arrives … The laundry notification would tie in well to a washing machine.
