I have a dual gang switch dedicated to my fan (light and fan switch separately). I have rendered one obsolete as a single switch now controls both the fan and light. I was wondering if there is a smart switch out there that I can dedicate to a lamp elsewhere in the room that has a smart bulb and all it controls is the lamp through a WiFi connection. Keep in mind there is no direct connection between the switch and the lamp.
Yes. You could have a smart switch with nothing connected to the load. And then a rule in SmartThings for the bulb to mirror the switch.
