Rule machine - as per the app developer, this app is no longer available for new installs, distribution, or support

Let me be clear to the community and the advocates that are active with the forum.

The things I say in my posts are not personal attacks. They are the result of mad frustration from myself and other users of this system. There are multiple new threads daily about problems with the system. There are bugs that are not fixed, but are permitted to flourish from update to update. Bug reports seems to be ignored. And the major of questions are answered from support with a standard canned response.

I chose this platform for several reasons. But the #1 reason has everything to do with this forum. Not just the people in the forum, but with the fact that it is so very rare to see company involvement in an open uncensored forum.

That was all of the proof I needed to know that this company has what it takes to come out of this race on top.

But that trust and feeling has diminished. I see developers complaining about treatment. These are the people the company should be lifting up. I see less and less company involvement in the forum. Which results in less and less information and knowledge being passed to the community.

While it is true that this community makes up a very small part of the company user block, there are a couple of key factors that seem to be overlooked by the company.

  1. the president if this company has publicly spoken about this forum and the super that flows both directions.
  2. multiple independent tech articles that not only mention, but talk about this community.
  3. new users of this system are in some way tech savvy, they can research companies at the touch of a button.
  4. the overall mood of the forum has declined and the company does very little to nothing to reverse that. All while using the community as a marketing tool.

To everyone at ST, you really should consider this forum like the rating stars on your next purchase at Amazon. Is the negativity of something you use as a marketing tool what you really want in the public eye?

I also, want to thank @slagle and @jody.albritton. These two are the only ones that seem to be making a regular appearance in the forum. And yes, they are going out of the way to keep this community up and running.

This platform has the potential for greatness. It would be nice to see the valuable resource that this forum is used for something more than a marketing ploy.
