I’m looking for ideas for an alternative to a time-based trigger. I’m aware that the timers are flaky, so I’m hoping someone has a brilliant idea to accomplish the same thing as this simple task, but without using time as the trigger:
Trigger Events: Time is 5:55
Conditions: Scott present
Actions: setLevel() and play() the Sonos
Basically we just want dinner music to start playing around dinner time. This rule has been defined for a week, and it has only worked 2 of those days, I assume due to the flaky timers, but I can’t think of any other triggering events that would cause rule evaluation. Any suggestions?
Side question: I’ve also come across posts indicating there’s somewhere in the IDE that shows scheduled jobs and job history like this one … where might I find this?
