Today I decided to remove everything and start over. I didn’t remove the devices but everything else had to go. I seem to be getting a lot of weird things going on. To any one new to smartthings, Here is some advice
Keeps things as simple as possible.
Watch out for multiple smartapps controlling the same thing that could be fighting. I’ve accidently done this several times and it drives me insane.
Get to know the system and how it works. So you can tell the difference between a smartapp not working correctly or the backend acting retarded. Which happens far to often! As a programmer I know how easy it is to test it and “THINK” you got it good enough to launch and only to find out you missed a handful of things.
