Thank you Mariano & Christian.
Initially I did not get it working with th esmartsense dth but today after repairing couple of times it works fine!
Thank you!
Lidl are busy expanding their range again …
Been looking for something like this - zigbee 3.0 irrigation system. Shame most of the range has never made it to the UK
I imagine it will come too.
In Spain it is also available for € 20.
Says it works on lidl hub and also on zigbee 3.0 hubs like Philips Hue and Osram.
Hi Mariano, did you get the irrigation system from Lidl to work with Smartthings?
Greetings, Luc
I don’t have it, I only saw that they had put it on sale for € 20
I figure it will work with the standard dth zigbee valve.
Everything I have from lidl, which is zigbee 3.0, works well on smartthings, dimmable bulbs, plugs, multiple plug, motion sensor, open close sensors.
Hi Mariano
Everything works except de battery status on the app using the default Zigbee Valve Type.
Should I use a different device handler?
Luc
I would have to look at the dth, I think the battery in this dth considers it a backup battery, since the valves are usually connected to the electrical network.
If you can send me a photo of the IDE where I can see the data of the model, manufacturer and the fingerprint of the device
Yes, I look at it and tell you something as soon as I can.
What batteries does it have?
2 regular AA 1,5 V batteries
Thanks
Luc
You are welcome! Lucien
I need to see which cluster it uses for battery level (0020 or 0021)
if you can place the valve near the hub
open a window in IDE with live logging
open another window with the valve
click on edit
change the DTH version from “published” to “draft”
Click on update
Wait about a minute.
Open the live logging window and select the valve. Take a screenshot of the valve’s response.
Let’s see what it looks like.
Try this DTH to see what it looks like in live loging
I don’t have much hope that it will work
Remember, put dth version in Draft to see live loging.
I don´t see the configure data.
Try changing dth version from published to draft, wait 1 minute
close smartthings app, reopen it and check.
change dth version to published. wait 1 minute.
close smartthings app, delete the app cache in phone seettings
reopen app and check
Get the following error:
Java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Needs to be string or int, received null value: null @line 155 (refresh)
Okay, I forgot to change a few things.
Copy the link dth again, it is already modified.
once you save and publish dth, remove the valve, reset it and reinstall it
