Just FYI, when I wanted to add the smartApp TP-Link SmartThings Manager, in the Smartthings Classic for IOS (iPad), it asks obviously what type, I selected Kasa Account, then I specified the Kasa credentials, and I wanted to save, of course. BUT there was no Save button in the upper right corner, as written in the text in the iOS app, in order to save the SmartApp. So I could not create it in IOS.
After an hour of trying, and pulling my hair, I had to install the Smartthings Classic for Android (on one of my Android boxes), and then there the Save button existed… I can prove this by reproducing it anytime…
I don’t who’s fault is this? probably the Samsung developers for iOS of the Classic app, but it pissed me off like you wouldn’t believe. I thought I am stupid. I was about to give up and send the hub back to Samsung.

I do not own an IOS device. I think the code is relatively standard and should work for both.
For IOS Users. Any problems in the install page (i.e., adding password). How do you work the save option? Screenshots would be nice with some notes on what happens on the IOS platform. I would use this to update the documentation.

I was using the older version 3.5 with no problem. I had to reset my health and start everything over for other reasons. Upon new fresh install of version 4.0 I did not receive the readings on power and wattage etc. Everything else worked great. After several reinstalls no luck. After my password several times with Kasa no luck. I reverted back to version 3.5 again no luck.
I really appreciate your hard work and would like any assistance you can give. As far as device driver you speaking of the handler? Because I would use the newer versions for each.

Suggest latest version and starting again. Login issues - probably at the Kasa level. You may need to go to the Kasa App and login again.
For my app, you should only log in if you see a invalid token error message.
For the HS-110, after installing the new driver check it out,
a. Turn on logging.
b. Set logging to trace or debug logging
c. Save (which will cause an updated() to execute).
The logs will contain info to allow me to troubleshoot.
Getting these errors don’t know how to fix please help

Interesting I got this air after installing a brand new plug
I am having trouble installing two HS100 devices. I was able to install one on its own, but I cannot seem to figure out what to do to get the others. I installed the code today so I believe I would be using the latest code, but I am a noob so maybe not. Here are the errors:

Is there something special that I need to do to get energy monitoring working? I set up two new HS110s about 20 hours ago and I’m still just seeing this. I’ve read through the instructions a few times and I don’t think that I missed anything. I only installed the one device handler, the one for the energy monitoring plugs. Do I need any of the others? Energy monitoring works great in the Kasa app.
I’m trying to get my Kasa cloud account (and TP-Link devices) working on my SmartThings. So far I’ve followed the instructions with success until I get to step number 4 in the “2-Running the Service Manager for the First Time.pdf” file. The smart TP-Link SmartThings Manager shows up in the My Apps list. I click on it, select Kasa Account and after entering my credentials and pressing save, I get a red banner at the top that says “! An unexpected error has occured.”
I don’t know what went wrong…or how to proceed?? Any ideas??

Typically, the red banner means that the Device Handlers are not installed or not installed against the correct hub.
Turn on Live Logging on the IDE, run the app again and capture the logs. I will need to see those.
Things to check:

Make sure the app and the device handlers are installed in the same location.

Make sure your device handler matches the list in the instructions.
