I’ve looking around at various tools to accomplish something. I haven’t purchased a SmartThings Hub yet but I’m looking for a door sensor that when open/closed can send an API to call to my website. I’ve accomplished this with a Rasberry PI, could I do something similar with a SmartThings Hub.
Why? Why would you need to call this out to your Raspberry Pi? How would you want the RPi to receive the information? What will the RPi do with the data. The answer to the question you asked is “yes”. But I assume you’re looking for more than that so you have to tell us some more background.
