I currently have 3 google homes spread around the house. Before the recent updates, I’ve assigned a different Google account to each Google home so I can say “turn off the light” and it would turn the light that I’ve assigned to it.
However, with the new update, I can only assign an entire location to each account. Not only that, after a call to support, it seems that I can only assign ONE Google account to each location. Before, the assignment was per device similiar to how IFTTT is integrated with Smartthings. I know I can work around this by making IFTTT shortcut for EACH device but I just hope that Smartthings can just fix this issue or revert back to how devices are assigned individually like it is currently for IFTTT.
