I got mine a few weeks ago. They have a support number on their website and they have been providing great support. Give them a call, support 7 days a week too.
Hi Julie,
FYI, I’ve done some work with the Neur.io API, but not with Curb yet.
Please refer to the ST Community wiki for more details:

I have a web store where I ask for a contribution related to my devices and smartapps:

Curb found my Coffee Pot? That was a surprise!
Yesterday morning, Smart Things did not make my coffee (ST Plug and old-school coffee pot). Alexa could find it and acted like she was turning it off and on, ST app acted like it was there too, but neither one would control it. I turned it on manually from the ST plug, still no control from either one.
I noticed in the ST app that there was a little tiny bit of text at the bottom left corner. Sure enough, it’s showing my coffee pot’s live usage.
I walked away for a day, this morning, my coffee was made as scheduled. I plugged the coffee pot into a KillAWatt then to the smart plug - it reads around 875 watts (while the ST is around 930). So in the scheme of things, it was pretty close.
It was also interesting to note that the ST app registered 0.5 watts with the coffee pot off - so I guess that’s how much power the KillAWatt itself uses!
ST app isn’t showing usage for anything else, but Coffee Pot is the only thing on ST that’s over about 50 watts.
Curb Desktop and App aren’t showing Coffee Pot specific usage…surely it’s Curb pulling the real-time usage from the Coffee Pot? I need to connect some other higher-wattage appliances to ST to test/confirm.
I checked out your site, also ordered Neurio and Automatic. They were delivered but I’m not sure when I’ll get time to install them. I’ll get the apps when I get them ready. Thanks for working on this!
Hi Julie,
Let me know if you need my consulting services or support for your next steps!
You can email me at services@maisonsecomatiq.com.
Regards.
Thank you much! I’m sure we’ll be in touch - the apparent Curb detection capacity has me very curious, I might “consult” with you to check out the Curb API a little more in depth to see if there’s anything that might be viable there.
I definitely want to see what you’ve done with Neurio to see if we might be thinking similarly!
So by way of an update.
I got a mail today telling me it’s en-route. Which is great news I just need to work out how I’m going to integrate it with SmartThings and Initial State.
So fingers crossed.
Jim
Just FYI - In case no one else has noticed it. The curb website (and android app) now support scrolling of smart thing switches.
Allen,
Thank you for flagging that! I only had 4 things added to my Curb Smart App (since that’s all that would fit) and never would have noticed the scroll feature!
Nice!
Some New Noted Features:
-“SmartThings” section has been renamed “Device Control”
-Recent Usage now shows a pop up with the 24 hour average Watt and % Usage of the breaker.
-Current Usage Screen now can be broken down to $/Week. $/Day $/Hour $/Month and Watts.
-Hovering over the timeline graph now shows more information. Per breaker and Total per hour.
Thats all the new stuff I have noticed. Anyone else catch anything?
- “Other” usage is now showing up on mobile app (used to only show on desktop version)
I’m completely thrilled to finally be able to see the real time usage in watts.
I notice that Curb seems to track about 10-15 watts higher than Neurio and Neurio reports a second or two before Curb.
wish there was a way to set alerts when a circuit has power running for x minutes (room light /fan left on) or when a circuit has no more consumption (dishwasher / laundry done…)
For those of us using Curb. There is a fun new feature:
- Curb now only shows the cost break down for the last 7 days instead of from your billing date.

Hi Allen,
Currently, the Cost Breakdown is only showing the past 7 days of data… There was a brief amount of time when you were able to set this with your Billing Date… This was an unintentional feature release meant for our subscription plans, and we pulled it back…
However, we are going to re-release this feature for a time (and others) to all customers very soon, in part to understand what data our customers want to see, and as a thank you for being early adopters. I will be sending a notification to all customers very soon.
I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We are working hard to get through these bumps in order to give our customers the best data and analytics available. I look forward to getting your feedback as we continue to release new features and functionality.
Regards,
Jay

I was just over at the Dashboard Ideas Thread and noticed a very casual mention of Curb integration. @Dianoga, can you provide any details about how you are getting data from your curb into ST-land? I’ve been waiting and hoping for this type of integration since the day I installed my curb…
I’m not pulling curb data into SmartThings. I’m just combing the displays on my dashboard.
I’ve finally achieved my (Curb-related) dream: true data flow from Curb to ST. Have a look at the project thread and give it a try if you’re feeling brave.
Will this boil down to another monthly subscription service to monitor your energy usage? If so, no thank you. I have enough bills already. While I am sure that companies will obviously pursue endless profits by devising a subscription service to monitor these devices, I’d prefer to pay one time for the system and be provided the software to read the data locally. Either bundle that monitoring software up with the device or it is not for me.
Kevin you can read about this device here. One time charge.
Thanks. I decided to purchase the old fashioned analog meter.
