Local execution for smartthings

A system based on SmartThings? You couldn’t use STHM and you can’t use the smartthings app at all unless you have access to the Smartthings cloud. And all notifications come from the smartthings cloud. And you wouldn’t have Geopresence triggers. and you’d have to use switches instead of security modes. So it wouldn’t meet any of my own requirements for a “security system.“

But you could set up a local sensor system using SmartThings where triggering a sensor would set off a siren or turn on a light. I don’t know if that would meet your requirements or not, it’s pretty limited.

yes, the notification will be very local.

Thanks for your comments my friend !, I know its very limited, but trying to keep it simple and trust in the neighbor security I only want to launch a local siren by 1-2 minute and turn on a couple of lights and strobes, also a virtual switch (record of alarm was triggered)…
Power and internet is very stable in my zone (I also have a UPS that works fine).
So in case of an intrusion without internet, Im done with siren that alerts my neighbors and switch on some lights and a virtual switch to let me know when internet gets back.
