Hue Sync TV App: Phillips Hue White & Color Ambiance Play Gradient Lightstrip turn on without reason

My New Hue Sync TV App with Phillips Hue White & Color Ambiance Play Gradient Lightstrip is new and work very fine.
But sometimes, when the TV is off, the Lighstripe turns on for some unknown reason.

Does anyone else have this problem?
Does anyone have a solution?
So far I’ve just turned off the TV as usual. Then I turned off the lightstrip using the mobile app. It would actually be nicer if the lightstrip turned off too. But it doesn’t.

This is where we ask if you use the SmartThings platform and have them connected to ST? When you mentioned turned the lightstrip off in the mobile app… which mobile app?

Do you use Alexa? Did you check if Hunches is enabled in Alexa and creating Routines in the Alexa app that turn on the Lightstrip? If yes, sizable Hunches and remove the Routine in Alexa.

If ST, did you tap on the tile for the,Lightstrip and click on the Routines tab to see if you have any Routines turning it on? Did you look through the ST logs to see if you can identify what is turning it on?

The whole thing has nothing to do with any mobile app or Alexa.
I use the Smartthings Hub that is built into my new Samsung TV.
The app on the TV itself controls the lightstrip by synchronizing with the Hue Bridge.

The TV itself switches the lightstrip on as soon as I switch the TV on.
Unfortunately, the TV doesn’t switch the lightstrip off automatically.
Worse: After I manually switch the lightstrip off, the lightstrip switches back on again at some point for some unknown reason.

Again… I am going to ask if you use Alexa and is it linked to ST or to your hue bridge? You say it has nothing to do with it but we have seen many times where it could possibly be the culprit. If you use Alexa and Hunches is enabled, it could be creating Routines in Alexa that is turning on the lightstrip but it may not be related as you stated - I don’t know as you haven’t indicated if you use it or not… So if you use Alexa… please check there.

Are you are only using the Hue Sync TV app on the TV? or are you using the ST app on your phone or tablet? If using the ST app, check the logs for the ligthstrip to see if it indicates what is turning it on.

If only using the Hue Sync TV app… I am not sure where to start as it would not be a SmartThings issue.

Yes. I have an Alexa environment. And it is linked to ST and Hue. Hunches is not activated.

I use ST on the TV, on the cell phone and on the tableau. And on the PC:
The Sync TV app only runs on the TV.

I checked all the resources in the Alexa app again. There is nothing to be found here.

But I think I have found the solution in the HueApp:
In the settings for the entertainment area there is a setting for the TV area. (That is where you place the Hue lamp.) There is the setting for when the synchronization stops (i.e. when the TV is switched off).

Here I switched to “Off”. Everything has been fine since I changed the setting.
